Peter Buckley joined Watch Hill Partners as a Partner and Head of Private Placements, a newly created position, in October 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Buckley was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Equity Private Placements for JP Morgan Securities Inc. where he oversaw a wide variety of equity raising activities including PIPE, hedge fund, venture capital and financial sponsor-focused financings in the Consumer, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, Industrial, Technology and Telecommunications sectors. Previously, Mr. Buckley was a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of the Private Equity Placements Group at Bear Stearns & Company, providing private equity product expertise to all of Bear Stearns' industry groups. Mr. Buckley was previously at Robertson Stephens & Company, where he was a senior member of the Private Capital Group with responsibility for covering the Consumer, Retail, Business Services and Healthcare Services sectors. While primarily engaged in equity raises, Mr. Buckley also focused on mezzanine debt financings for companies with sufficient cash flow. Prior to 1996, Mr. Buckley spent ten years at Bank of America Securities in New York and San Francisco, where he completed more than $4 billion of private senior and mezzanine debt financings across several industry sectors, including Consumer, Energy, Industrial, Mining and Retail.

Mr. Buckley received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Colorado College and his M.B.A. from Harvard University Graduate School of Business. He has been active with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation since 1999.
